Various and Sundry Sunday Stuff
With the last week's heat and my watching so much Olympics coverage I have not been posting much, so a couple things I neglected to post about in the last week :
Happy birthday K ! Fifty is coming fast... real fast !
Congratulations to Jeff Gordon on his 86th Sprint Cup win. It seems appropriate that in a season where everything that can go wrong has gone wrong that a little misfortune for someone else and the race being stopped for rain would be what it took for him to win. Truly one odd year for fans of the 24 team.
Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt are truly a blast to follow as a sports fan. Phelps' 22 Olympic medals will likely only be eclipsed in my lifetime if he decided to rescind his retirement and come back in 2016 and Bolt is so much faster than anyone else that he gets to style at the end of sprints.
