The numbers “666” were selected as the winning digits in the daily drawing last night. It meant a $250 payoff for the 854 players who played a $.50 straight bet and a $500 payoff for the 1,140 people who played a $1.00 straight bet.
“Players tend to play all the same numbers,” said Andi Brancato, director of public relations at the Michigan Lottery. “It might be 666, 333 -- ones and zeros are very popular -- anything that is the same.”
