Dream time again
Last night I had to take some Benadryl for horrid allergies, and apparently that is another thing that can react with melatonin to produce wacky dreams. This is the one I recall most vividly (I actually wrote a note or two upon waking from it) :
Some friends of mine had to bail on their house in a hurry, because of pending legal issues. I was told through a mutual contact that anything I wanted of what they had left was mine, but I had till morning. So, myself and a couple friends, including a trusted female friend who was a practicer of Santeria, were sneaking around in this house getting things. The oddest thing was that when we took something, the gal with the Santeria leanings insisted we tie a loop of brown thread / string around it and say the word "Targrero". The dream seemed to linger for quite a while as I grabbed the most personal things, including lots of family pics of theirs, some of the wife's "intimates", and a huge collection of cartridges for the old Atari gaming system.
I think next time I feel I need Benadryl late in the evening I think I will skip my melatonin. One of the other dreams was a suicide dream and I woke so many times from odd dreams that I feel like I stayed up all night.
