A B'day Wish and TV Thoughts

I hated seeing Ben Starr booted from Master Chef . I get it, he really kind of smoked himself by doing poorly when he was given the edge, but he was fun to watch and his energy will be missed. I am really not sure who to root for, but I like Jennifer the best of the remaining chefs.
Is it just me or is the upcoming fall television series looking like it stinks. The New Girl... looks like it will last about 3 weeks, Whitney about the same. The Playboy Club and Pan-Am both seem like they are about two decades too late. Person of Interest appears like it may be a stretch and Terra Nova looks like just another Saturday morning show for kiddies. Arrrrrrgh. Gonna be a tough year. I hope they do not cancel The Event or V . Bring on some more reality shows because major networks no longer do very good comedy or drama. Damn I miss Jack Bauer.
