Bizarre dream sequence

I had this odd dream last night that seemed like a series of vignettes sloppily tied together. I think the thing was triggered by a reaction between my melatonin and some Benadryl. The details are not perfectly clear :

I was in New York City. A friend was showing me the highlights, yet seemed to have no real idea where anything was. I was trying to get some "New York-ish" photos of buildings, but no real clusters of high-rises were anywhere to be seen and I could not get my digital camera to focus completely. Also, there were palm trees all over the place even though it was New York for sure. At one point a road suddenly dead-ended into this mass of rails where train cars flew by which looked much more like the London double-decker buses dimensionally. After a bit I was lunching with someone I was obviously very much into, telling her that I would move to New York CIty if she was interested in seeing where the relationship went, which seemed to please her (The odd thing about that is she was a small, slender, brunette...  nothing like the big women I am typically into). Finally, it evolved into her and I in some professor's class, being taught outdoors. Well, not "some" professor, it was Dr. House (yes, the television character) and he was asking a bunch of rambling questions and lampooning everyone's answers.
