(no subject)
I'm bored at the present time, and so I figured I'd entertain all of
you with a very non interesting post. I'll start off with what's
happened so far in the past week or so since I've last posted. Shit all
really, I have nothing talk about, everyone is finishing up school and
exams, and then it's summer vaction for many of those high school kids
and intersession university students. Life's been kinda boring, parents
constantly nagging at me about my marks, how I don't work at the store
for them, and that I'm stupid and worthless. I dunno, you'd think I'm
used to it by now, but it still seems to bother me somewhat. Whatever,
what's done is done.
I've been thinking lately, kinda surprising actually that I'm processing a thought right about now. You really want to know about what I'm thinking about right now? is it life? is it about his future? is it his parents...again? or his friends? Those are prolly some of the things that I'm sure you're thinking about right now. I dunno, it's a mixture of thoughts. My friend Vince had something on his MSN Myspace that got me thinking too, it's about that thing called love. Is it real? or just a figment of everyone's imagination? Do we really love one another? or are we just using it to keep us ourselves happy? I don't know, do I believe in a thing called love? Apparently The Darkness do, and well look where it's gotten them, in leotards and with goofy British teeth (no offense, but the book of teeth from the simpsons made me say it).
Another thing on my mind right now, is that thing called anime, what's so good about it now? What makes us watch it? What caught the attention of North Americans to it? Was it the eyes? The "sexy" characters? The boobs? The porn? Why is it that it's taken over so many art programs and other things. While people have the talent to draw wicked anime, I've seen some pretty nice drawings my friend has done, they are like the old style Marvel and real style drawings. He told me that he had been rejected to RRC, I had asked why he had, I mean the man has talent...and he said that most of the other people applying all had anime in their portfolios and some of them got accepted. Why would cartoons like that get picked over some good ol' Spider-Man and drawings of naturistic things. It really bothers me that people are now filtering out good real artists to replace them with big boobed, thin waisted, girls in bikinis. URGH....
