State of the Pups

Jim Gutterman
Still a loner in the village, still rather unhappy about it but equally still too easily unsettled by vampires, aliens and co. He meets enough people, but usually it seems they meet just once for one reason or another.
The softball game was fun, and he still intends to follow up on Faith's offer to teach him to play pool. The new job with the fire crew somehow got in the way of that, but it's not forgotten. He's just been busy figuring out how to run the place [also mun had been sick and not up to starting new threads]. Expect a visit soon!
Also, having learned something about the future of flight just a few years ahead of his time has had him thinking about his own future. Never a bad thing to do.
Kickboxing and flight lessons with Kate are something he's definitely looking forward to!

He still wakes up in the morning thinking this must all be a dream. So he's no pilot here, which of course sucks if that's all you ever wanted to be, but he's got a paying job with responsibility and he's dating a beautiful and intelligent woman! Him! He has no idea how he managed to achieve that but he's very happy Joan has not just dropped him like a hot potato when he finally told her what a loser he is back home.
Donna has been a great support for him when he arrived, which has made settling in a lot easier. He's been meaning to catch up with her but isn't it incredible how much time dating takes up? ;-)
So, apart from monsters, the village actually is a pretty good place to be. Especially once he figures out how to use the holosuite for flying.
