I have cable, but I still got a voucher fur when the cable goes out...and it does go out. Way to go, T-Dub.
I haven't used said voucher yet; it expires on the 16th. I think the local ABC news affiliate did a comparison on converters, and found they all work equally well. Mayhaps I'll pick one up with tomorrow's pay.
My buddy has already started to pick up some channels with his new flat-screen TVs with built-in tuners. Not only that, but his picture is nice and clean! I just wish he'd make his HOUSE nice and clean, but that's a whole 'nother story... :P
Yes, the boxes should be equal as my Best Buy house brand box looks exactly like the one Zenith makes. They're just flashed a bit differently for the logo stenciled on the case.
I'm familiar with the "whole 'nother story" part personally, and I won't go into whom it might be, and why myself.
