Hey man, slow down!

Things happening at the moment so I thought I ought to let a few of you know who perhaps don't get to know usually.

Most of you know that we're planning to move house and that was going very nicely (we're completing the sale of our house tomorrow) until yesterday! Mum got a phonecall from the solicitor to say that the nice house round the corner we'd set our hearts on doesn't actaully have any deeds :/ To be more specific the deeds have been totally lost a couple of owners ago and nobody know where they are. This means that the ownership of the house depends completely upon "squatter's rights" so even if we pay for it we wouldn't actually own it for another ten years when the fact that the deeds were lost would have been registered for 12 years and we would then own it. So yesterday wasn't great after this news. We've really been let down by the guy who was selling this house to us, this house that he doesn't even legally own and the estate agents even lied to us several times about different things. The whole thing has been really stressful and more stressful than it normally would be to move house which, of course, is bad enough.

There's been some good news this morning, I got a phonecall from this job I applied for installing flat-packe doffice furniture. The guy said I can have the job if I still want it and asked me to come in and have a chat so he could tell me all about the company and exactly what the job entails. It's a small company that's growing quite well recently hence them taking more people on. They've got a contract with Greater Manchester Police right now so I had to fill in this form for vetting to make sure I've not been in prison and the like. I'll be installing desks and stuff in a police station! This job is perfect for me, I love building flat-packs! It'll be hard work loading and unloading a truck with the furniture and sometimes having to get up really early and ride my bike into Burnley so we cen get to the job on time, but it's great! It's going to be something like a couple of days a week so there may be the possibility of carrying on when college starts.

Just one more thing, I was witness to a crash outside the house the other week, this go-kart skidded sideways into the back of our nextdoor neighbours' parked car and hit his head on the rear bumper, he wasn't wearing a crash-helmet. The poice came round the next day and took a statement from me. There's a rumour that the man in the go-kart is on life-support and has only a week to live, it may go to court. The garage further down the street was involved so they may be in trouble.

That's the important stuff right now, I apologise for the length of this post but it has sort of helped to type it all out. Hopefully some of it is interesting to you anyway :D

Until next time.
