Diving into Kindle Desktop Publishing - "Souls"

Jun 01, 2014 08:17

My short story Souls has gone live on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. Set in the present, it first appeared in the original anthology Fedora II, edited by Michael Bracken, and its blurb reads: "A friendly game of Yahtzee in a neighborhood tavern for a couple of bucks-what could go wrong? Only, what happens when a man’s life rides on the outcome of a kids' pastime-and a single roll of the dice?"

I adapted the story from a screenplay I wrote that took first place in the short film category at the L.A. Screamfest Screenwriting Competition.

The story's available here.

Even if you don't own a Kindle reader, you can still enjoy Kindle-published books on your computer, laptop, smartphone, and/or tablet by downloading the appropriate Kindle apps here.

And all the apps are FREE!

If you'd like to help promote my fiction, feel free to share this post.

Thanks!
