Interesting Jilly. I'm not a hundred percent certain I am getting the end correctly...are those people he murdered then immortalised in stone or are the actual people in his garden turned to stone? Creepy whichever way it is!

Yes, Jo, Holley's right. He offs them, then makes a statue of them for his garden. His own monument to all his acheivments, just like he was mocking her for wanting.
Gillian! How cool - I haven't heard from you in ages!!! No pics, this was something I did for a writer's group that I belong to. We meet once a month, and sometimes they give us a theme to write about. This one and my Valentine's story are from that.
