I am so happy right now and I don't even know why. It's like ridiculous how you can be so upset about college and school and so stressed about everything and then something can happen that can just totally change your views on everything and make you forget about it all and stop thinking about the future and start living life now. So yeah, let's start back at like the middle of last week.

Last Wednesday, I finished three more of my college applications: UMass Amherst, URI, and NC State University. I went to Ms. Mozzone on Thursday morning and she got the things all ready to sent out to those three. Thursday was Carley's birthday and the senior holiday party. Good times. We went to Friendly's after and I drank the HUGE milkshake in like literally 3 minutes cuz I was supposed to be home already, so then I was really uncomfortably full whilst driving homeward. Kinda not cool. Friday I stayed after for a while and worked on yearbook. I put together a layout for the divider that leads into the whole memories section. Friday night Diana and Eric came over. Quite amusing. Eric and Kevin were like fighting over cookie making. I was making a mess and Eric was like right behind me cleaning up with diet coke in hand, lol...also quite amusing. (i love you babe!) Saturday morning...up nice and early to take the ACTs. Much better than SATs...i recommend all you underclassmen take them as well as the SATs when it comes time, because you'll probably do better. Saturday afternoon-lunch at Not Your Average Joe's with Danana, Eric, and Cat. Then skating at Frog Pond in Boston with Eric, Cat, Danana, and Liz. Then homeward once again on the train. We stopped at the crazy Christmas house on the way home. Mucho lights. Eric met the Jasinskis and then I brought him home and went to bed early.

Sunday...this brings me to the part of my story that makes me super happy. My aunt works for Putnam Investments and they had their big company Christmas party at some wicked fancy hotel in Boston. She asked me to go in with her and Shannon. It was so much fun. They had so much to do. They had the Pats on ginormous televisions, there was karaoke (which sucked cuz no one could sing), caricatures, gingerbread men making, face painting, airbrush tattoos, and tons of other stuff. One of the other things was tarot card readers. So my mom found out they were gonna be there and told my aunt to make me have my cards read. So she did. I'm so glad I did. She basically knew I wanted to go to school down south and when I said North Carolina, right away she said Chapel Hill. She said i'm gonna get into UNC, i'm gonna go there, I'll make lots of really good friends, money won't be a problem cuz of something about some scholarships, and everything will be good. So now i'm like all set with this whole college thing and I'm not so hesitant about going to NC anymore. I'm feeling better about everything. I sent out those apps from last week tonight and I'm gonna do Stonehill and Wake Forest later this week. And to top off my good mood about college...Cat got into NYU which totally made my day because that was her "reach school" kinda like UNC is mine, and it gave me extra hope that i can get into mine. Besides, she said I could come visit her in NY! I love my life!
