4 - Waking up is hard to do

[Audio to start. Why? Because Jilly has just woken up up from her coma, and no one needs to see her in a hospital bed, sans red lipstick.]

I was going to ask why I'm waking up in the hospital.

But I think I'll ask about this instead.

[She turns on the camera, which is pointed at her legs beneath the blanket. Or at least what should be two legs

As for the snow ... do you still have legs under that? If not, perhaps you should call a doctor.

I think they're skiing down my legs. I think that's what the mountains are.

This is really just...I mean really? What am I supposed to do, just lie here until they're gone?

Oh! That would make sense.

I can try to talk to them, perhaps, but they are not very reasonable creatures.

[There's chattering from behind Chromie and a book goes flying at her head. It freezes in mid-air before it can collide. She doesn't look alarmed so much as exasperated.]

[Her eyes widen as the book freezes.]

Did you do that, or did they?

[strangehstorian]

[She looks over at the book, and reaches over to pluck it out of the air.]

They threw it, if that's what you're asking.

No, I'm asking who made it just stop like that.

Oh. That was me! I have limited power over time.

That must come in handy.

Too bad you can't rewind time to when these little darlings showed up and put them all in a box or something.

Unfortunately, since I would be returning to the past because of their presence, preventing it would cause a paradox.

I guess we wait it out then. Someone told me they like tea.
