I never realised before how cool it would be to have Wetzel working at a record store...at first all I thought, oh that's cool, now he'll be able to buy a bunch of cheap CD's and I can copy them. But then toni^w last night I had an epiphany of how cool it really is. With him working there, I have someone that actually looks through all the stuff that's there, and if he sees something interesting, he'll pluck it out and either show/tell me about it. Also, since he works there I'm starting to go hang out there to see him. Now this isn't a big deal, but when he's with a customer, I've taken to exploring the store, and my findings coupled with what he shows me has really gotten me into some cool artists. Midival Punditz, Mouse on Mars, HEAVY CLASSIX (Best CD EVER :-\), etc. It's really starting to broaden my listening repertoire. Basically, Wetzel having a job there is one of the best things in a while to happen to my ears, cause I LOVE good music.
In other news, thinking of getting an EMusic.com membership, gotta do some more research on the artists they have. This weekend has been cool, nothing too terribly special. Friday was spent DDR'ing it up at my house with some people, Saturday decimating the state of Virginia at band, sunday.....I don't remember, I think it was pretty much a blah day, Monday "fixing" Heather's computer, chilling with Asheley, and celebrating Mike's 18th birthday, and Tuesday DDR'ing my heart out at Springfield! Call me before 12:30 if you wanna go. Ok, time now for me to sleep. By the way, music fucking ROCKS! Wetzel, keep finding cool stuff for me to listen to.
