So I have been in Germany since the 15th. I had to get to london for my flight, so I took a bus with one of my friends shannon who was leaving from the same airport to get to america. We both had early morning flights, so we slept in Terminal 1 of heathrow station, on the floor, in a corner. It was so miserable, and really cold, but I can now say that I have slept in an airport. I dont consider myself to be a super great flyer, in fact it scares me. But I think not getting any sleep the night before is the trick, because I slept the entire way listening to a mix that I had made the night before I left, and worship music. It was fantastic. Not to mention the really adorable guy that sat next to me. Good deal.
When I got to stuttgart, I didn't know who I was looking for, and I couldn't find my uncle. I didn't know what he looked like. We finally found eachother, and It was weird for the first few hours, espeacially because I was so so tired. But we went on a walk around his village, the village of Neuhaussen, with my aunt, cousin max and cousin sara. Sara has this beautiful little baby and I got to give her lots of love. after our walk we went for cake and coffe at a local cafe, and went back to the house and ate doners. I went to bed pretty quickly because I seriously kept falling asleep. I slept all morning, they all wake up at like 6. All of the days after the first sort of blur together. I went to like 3 dinners, one with the fam, one of hellas works christmas dinners (i sang rudolf while she played the accordian), and a different family dinner. We made cookies, that was excellent. Hella and sara and I all made cookies and they really want me to drink! last night in the kitchen after dinner they insisted that I take shots with them... so funny! My uncle took me on a drive through munich to greshim, which is this beautiful little city that lays in the german alps. Man its so pretty there, unreal. Cold to, they had snow, which absolutely i miss. I've been having some great conversations with each member of my fam, and I really feel like we are all getting to know eachother. they think I am super easy going which is true, that suprised Robin when he took me out with some of his friends and girlfriend. He said that he was jelous that I could talk to so many different people so quickly. ha. There clubs are just like the clubs at home. The brought me to a rock club, and there was a premiere for a skating video and it was packed. I've been to alot of the different towns in the area to chirstmas markets (amazing) to experience some german food and culture. Its so quiet here all of the time. Minus when we made cookies.
I'm going to try to write something from each different country. Hope you are all doing well, and I love you. If I miss the chance to say it, Merry christmas! Laura, I'm going to try to call on your birthday, but if my phone fails me, HAVE AN AMAZING 21! PLEASE BE SAFE! And hey, tell that tony kid that I say the same thing to him, even though thats a while away still!
Love.
