Am I ever so glad that I prepared myself for today. And have you ever had one of those days that you just KNOW that you are looking good? Yeah, it was a good day for me-->here's the scoop.
Since I just recently returned from Japan, I have not had too much time to spend with my possy. So tonight, after church, I was invited to eat dinner at a popular pizza place with all my groupies. I haven't had pizza for over 6 weeks so I was all for that! Ha ha ha. After exchanging vacation stories, I had the 3 minutes that made my day. As all should know by now, with evidence to previous entries, I am quite interested in a guy named Shane. While talking with my friends, I glance over at the entrance to the restaurant just to see who came in. I give you two guesses who it was. That's right! My heart leapt into my throat only to plummet rapidly back into the pit of my abdomen in a span of .025 seconds when I saw him. Whether who saw who first, I played cool and act as if I didn't see him and began to listen casually to what my friends where saying, but my mind was reeling! I had seen Shane! I checked back again--YEP! It was him!
So have I left you wondering...? Did I or did I not talk to him...?
OF COURSE I DID!
Being the traditionalist that I am, bound to old-fashioned ways, I thought that if Shane noticed me and wanted to talk to me, that would be his decision. If he did, I would take that as a good sign. If he seemed excited to see me and spoke with me, I would take that as a brownie point for me! Tee hee hee. *^_^* Well in what seemed like an eternity where I was thinking, "Oh please let him notice me, oh please let him notice me" over and over in my mind, I hear the shout of my name and then turn my head to see Shane in all his stunningly handsome glory rushing over. And of course, I squeak in delight and catapult myself from my chair to rush over, hugging him warmly in greeting. I can't remember... but I might have been squealing in his ear when we hugged. Ha ha ha!
He looked.... wow. Black dress pants, bluish-gray long-sleeve polo shirt, his hair is now down to the bottom of his jawline and neatly tucked behind his ears. And he still has though mesmerizing eyes framed by those adorable long lashes. MMMM! He looked GOOD!
And it was one of those fleeting moments that I am ever grateful I was wearing nice clothes, had done my hair up really neat, and was doing my best at all the social graces. However, maybe letting out a pleasent squeak/squeal when I saw Shane excited to see me was a bit of a stretch. Heh.. heh.
Yeah... I had a really good evening and am looking forward to seeing Shane again.
