I really do. I even liked it when it snowed. I heard Edmonton's urban forester today on CBC and he was rejoicing. I share his sentiments. The worst kind of weather I can imagine is 38 and dry, with the grass crunching under your feet. I hate that even more than -40.
If anyone cares to do a good turn for the environments, and some little Girl Guides under my care, feel free to come out to Ardrossan and help us clean up the mess that is springtime ditches in Alberta. Email for details. Or not. Instead you could consider returning all unwanted credit card applications you receive in the mail to the company, via their postage paid envelope, with the message that "Deforestation accounts for 25% of manmade greenhouse gas emissions." Think of the effect if we all did it!
In completely unrelated news, I'm thinking of rejoining FB because I heard they introduced chat. Also, I admit I'm feeling out of the loop on some stuff. I might be a little more careful about what kinds of info I fill in this time, though, because I don't like FB's privacy practices and I worry about things like that.
