1. I don't see you laying down a vapor layer between the floor and the planks. Do the planks have something built into the bottom that handles that function? 2. Was there any nailing down involved? It looks like pop-n-lock type planks , but I wasn't sure if the starter plank has to be nailed in anyway.
Thanks! We laid this over a subfloor with a basement underneath so there was no need for a vapor barrier like they would be if it were on the ground floor. No nailing - it's a floating floor so it all snaps together. You do have to leave 1/4 inch all the way around for expansion but that will be covered up with the trim once that gets put back on.
