It must be a good 10 degrees cooler than yesterday; well, closer to 20 degrees, if you ask me, which in my area, ultimately got to 98 degrees or so. *SHUDDERS AT THE THOUGHT OF THE MUSIC GROUP BY THE SAME NAME* Heck, when I got home last night (around 6 o'clock), the thermostat (which also gauges room temperature) said it was 91 at its peak, INDOORS! 0_o I did open up the windows and back sliding door once I got there, but it did take awhile to cool off, sheesh! Now they are saying we're hitting a "cool period" that will keep us around the 80's for a couple days, then give way to 70's again by next week. I can tell you it actually feels *chilly* outside compared to yesterday, but I'll take it. Even saw a few stray raindrops around lunchtime, but those didn't last. Now I know how it must feel to be a desert-dweller when they complain how "cold" it is up here.
Still, good LAWD I hope we don't see another day like that, my sweat was even sweating! At least my headache has improved, although the air is hazy and dry yet. Ah well. I survived, and so did my fishy! I am also not ashamed to admit I ran around the house (and stepped out on the back deck for a time) without any pants, or shorts, for that matter, and I didn't care! (I had panties on, you sickos! Get those minds out of the sewers and get back into the gutter where you belong!) It was dark outside anyway, so nobody would have been looking unless they'd wanted to. (In which case, they're sickos, but hey, be my guest, ya pervs!) Course, I don't think anyone was, so it's all good.
Now, to get to thinking about what I'm doing this weekend; on Saturday, I have my first "semi-official" craft fair that I'm going to try selling a few things at. My Mom and one of our family friends made some stuff they're going to peddle (decorative pillows, stepping stones, bird houses, and such), and they said I should bring some of the jewelry stuff I've been making (or attempting to make). I can't say I'm terribly proud of any of it, but given I'm trying to raise money for my 3-Day Walk, I'll give it a shot. I need to take pictures of the stuff I've made before I do much else, though. So, we'll see how that goes. I should really show y'all what I've been making, in case anyone's interested in my "junk in the trunk". ^_~
Well, I gotta go, but I thought I'd let everyone know I survived "THE BIG FRY OF 2007". Woo, go me.
