Another Day, Another Snowfall.

Ugh, this is getting SO old! Stop the insanity! (Apologies for quoting Susan Powter there, LOL.) Seriously, no more snow. Ahhh! Sure, it was only a couple of inches, but still, on top of what we had already, and the underlying ice, ugh. This sucks, Beavis!

They (there "they" go again) still promise light rain later, or a "Wintry mix", and I did see a few almost-but-not-quite-raindrops falling, but meh. It's gonna take a couple of days to melt it off (and some cold nights are coming yet). I will be SO excited to see blades of grass again! O_o Oh well, it can always be worse, I know...

Anyway, I am at work, because my Dad is insane and drove us to work (the man cannot be kept away from his beloved office, I swear, he's like the Postal Service). It might be a bit slickery later, but hey, that's why we carpool, right? He drove a neighbour of ours to work also this morning as well. I think I'd have opted to stay home like all the schoolkids got to again, but hey, it's money. So, yeah.

In other news, tonight begins yet another season of American Idol. I'm not sure if I'm excited or not. We'll see how it pans out. I mainly just want to see the auditions, since I hear they're something awful. Speaking of awful and LOLLER-ific entertainment, I had the "joy" of seeing that insane interview with Paula Abdul on our local news channel the other morning. For those interested, you can see the clip here. (The quality kind of sucks, but it's the only unedited clip on YouTube right now.) Trust me, it's hilarious. WTF was she on, seriously? I don't buy the "just tired" excuse, sorry. Apparently people from Seattle are the most delusional people ever, according to Paula. But then again, her little patch of reality is a bit convoluted anyway, LOL.

And yays for Ms. Jennifer "Dreamgirl" Hudson for her Golden Globe win! I knew she would be something big someday! (Take that, Fantasia and LaToya!) And also SQUEE!HAPPY about America Ferrera for her Ugly Betty win. (That show is teh awesome. SRSLY! You people should be watching it - Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC!) And Hugh Laurie won for House, M.D. - woohoo! I am not usually huge on the awards shows, but I like to hear about well-deserved honours. ^_^

I guess that's all that's on my mind this morning; I have some long-delayed projects to work on, and family drama is buzzing about in the background at work today (re: well, Dad's family/the Crazy Uncle). So, I guess I'd better jet. I hope everyone else is having a decent day! Because you know, indecent days are, well, NSFW. ;@ )
