...but I am happy to be letting go of this year. This hasn't been the best-of-years, and I know not just for me, so here's hoping we all start out right and see better days ahead. Remember the lessons we've learned, but forge ahead knowing each lesson makes us stronger and no matter how hard it seems, is a part of the lives we all live.
Now, I must go and help finish preparations for our BIG ASS NEW YEAR'S PARTY tonight. At least it won't be like last year, with a bunch of giggling girls (although there will be some), this is an ADULT PARTY this year, w00t!
My very best to all of you! Party hard, safely, and enjoy! And to those who have already been celebrating, a very happy and safe recovery to you!
Oh, and P.S., this comes straight from my late Grandpa Sheehan, mind you (as passed down to my father, and now to my generation), the best cure for a hangover (other than not drinking) is this: upon waking (<--I know it's hard after a night of drinking, but you can do it!!!) make yourself a nice peanut butter sandwich and pour a glass of milk. Consume them fully. Go along with your day as planned.
I haven't had to try it (well, actually, I'm allergic to peanut butter, so I can't, and I'm lactose intolerant to boot, meh), but I'm told it works VERY WELL. So, if you need it, give it a try and let me know if it works for you. Ooh, wisdom from beyond-the-grave; spooky!
Or you know, you can just try using some HEAD ON! Apply directly to the forehead-*THWACK*
That's all from me! Peace out! ^_^
