Several Things...
First, RIP Peter Jennings. See, this is why smoking is bad for you. ;_; He will be missed. (This is just not a good year for people leaving...)
Next, let's hope nothing goes wrong with the shuttle Discovery returning to Earth. *HOLDS BREATH*
Also, I have to say that dress shopping isn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be, and that having had massive amounts of alcohol last night surprisingly didn't affect me as much as I would have thought (aside from a little wooziness...but then again, I rarely consume alcohol, so I'm a lightweight when it comes to drinking). But, at least I now have a dress (the first and only one I tried on today) for my cousin Brian's wedding. Nearly strapless (spaghetti straps), woo! (Yes, 26376 I dare say that gift card you sent me will come in MIGHTY handy indeed!) I realize people will want to see pictures at some point too. ^_~
However, I still need to buy shoes. And accessories to go with the dress. And still need something decent/interesting to wear to my Reunion (which is this Saturday). Oh yay. And I could honestly use a haircut as well. @_@
Oh, and also, I am not very good at playing Pool. But this is nothing surprising. I am not aggressive enough with the cue sticks...heh heh heh. Although I think alcohol consumption may have affected my skills last night. Yeah, that's it. *_* (Okay, so honestly, I only had three drinks total; one shot of something called "Chocolate Cake", an Alabama Slammer, and a Pineapple/Coconut Margarita. That was it! But, a lot for ME. ashjulall and crossdandlost made me do it!)
And finally, I will be out of town and away from work tomorrow and Tuesday, so any pressing issues and E-mail will have to wait until I'm back at work on Wednesday. Yup.
And hey, sport6449, it was mighty lovely talking to you on the phone, and you will be justly rewarded in time...although Beth and I were trying to figure out what you were singing. And also, it was nice to finally meet you, bfosburg. We gotta keep Beth in line, though! :@ )
