(no subject)
School starts tomorrow. That doesn't make me any happier, believe me. This is really the first year I'm not looking forward to. Which is weird, b/c I should be happy. It is my SENIOR year. By the way, senior pictures were great. Surprisingly, I had a lot of fun doing that. But those photographers are nasty. They hit on, like, every girl. I was ready to puke... But anyway, I'm REALLY hoping to graduate 3rd in the class. But a lot of my classes are really easy. And I mean, I didn't do it that way on purpose. It just kinda happened that those were the classes I needed. I hope that doesn't hurt me. But I have a feeling that it will. I SO wish I could have taken AP English. But I really don't WANT to take it w/ Mrs. Aikens. GRRR Stupid school system.
Anyway, band camp was... interesting. I actually found it quite boring, but I don't really want to say much about that seeing as how I'm supposed to be positive and everything. It was very different, let's just put it that way. I'm not too sure I'm agreeing w/ everything the directors choose to do. I think they're being very biased and self-serving. But that's just my opinion. I was kinda mad at Hasty from the beginning for some of his...um... officer choices. One choice in particular rather got on my nerves last week. But we won't talk about that. On a POSITIVE note, the band actually sounds half-decent. I am IMPRESSED. Seriously. The Opener sounds REALLY good for the amount of time we've spent on it. The woodwinds still need some help though... Apparently they miss Alex. But then again, don't we all? :)
Well, I think I'm gonna go get ready for bed now. And ready for the first day of my senior year. Yay!
9 months and 13 days until graduation!!!
