 First College Update.

Okay, so..I've been at UMass for a little over 3 weeks so I figured I would update about college life...and...I love it. I live on the fourth floor melville which is in the "crazy" residence section of the school called southwest. (i applied for a group in the business school which a selected 50 students get to live together)  I love living where I am livingggg. My roommate is nice, we hang out a lot. She likes to study, and I don't so it's funny how we both try to compromise. We both got close with this girl Rachel who lives down the hallway from us. She is like in our room everyday, and we loooove her...even though she has been sick for the longest time. And...we made good friends with this kid Mark across the hall, and Paulie next door. Andrew who lives in the dorm next to us is always over in our hallway too.

So, I'll talk about move-in. My uncle, aunt, mom, sister, and brother all moved me in. It was an easy process..we moved in under 3 hours..we went to a bunch of stores to get stuff for the room too. I love how it looks...I got the shitty side of the dorm--but i don't really care..because my side is prettier. Anyways--it was hard saying goodbye to mom. but i did..hopefully i'll see her next weekend if she comes to get me for columbus weekend...

Umm..it's nice being in a loud hallway. EVERYBODY always keeps their doors open, and it's a nice feeling. I feel like I get along with a lot of these people unlike high school. Everyone has similiar interests--and we all have at least one class together because of the program. I'm having a lot of fun , last weekend was the first time I got "drunk" cause it's zoooomass. I love playing beruit, and I'm kick ass at it. Figures--I played so many sports in high school.

It's hard eating at the dining commons because i'm not used to the food really. It grosses me out sort of--but I had a few good things here and there--so i can't complain that much. but the delivery food is amazing...soooo fast. you want wings? 10 minutes. awesome!

what else? what do i miss about high school?
i miss playing volleyball honestly. i really would have liked to play this year with all of the girls..and i hate not playing now. so advice to volleyball lovers--don't go to a D1 school that doesn't have a volleyball program. I was trying to find the club team, but apparently they weren't having one? we'll see about that.
i miss my mommy who was there to wake me up in the morning.

but what don't i miss about high school?
-in between classes are amazing because you can sleep..couldn't do that in high school
-you feel more relaxed in your classes, because you're not worried about what assignments you didn't hand in.
-i have one class on tues/thurs at 230 so i get to sleep forever, and stay up late on monday/wednesday
-you don't have to worry about what your parents think anymore
-it's sooo much easier to study..well kinda..(it's relaxing)
-okay...well it's hard to get work done when there's something cool going on.
-all the club meeting have pizza parties
-i have like 2 final exams the rest are essays--i rather do essays
-you don't get sick of the same shit everyday--each day changes!
-the semester ends in december
-i get over a month off for christmas break

okay there are so many advantages of being in college. i seriously feel like i can do good for once.

and i went to the gym today..and i'm going to try to go tomorrow. i wanna get in shape again--i'm a fatty freshman.

in other words.
i miss my daddy, i don't beliveve it. too many nightmares. i'm hoping he's in a good place.
i love him more than anything.

adam's doing well too. he got halo last night. hopefully he comes and sees me soon :]

i should go to bed now..i have an 8am class!
