Extension
All I have heard tonight has been about the deployment extension. It is effective for all troops starting immediatly. That means I might be in Iraq for another 3 months. So i would be coming home in November instead of August. :( I don't know yet if it will affect my unit or just combat units. I really won't know until tomorrow. If I am lucky, I will know at the morning brief.
I don't mind staying longer but I wish I wasn't in the dark about it. I don't mind because it gives me the deployment time but I would like to see my baby grow up. I don't want him forgetting me.
