(no subject)
So I'm officially a Carolina student now. I'm pretty excited- I'm all moved in and settled in and I have my classes set up and everything. My classes start at 9:00 or 9:30 everyday, which is a bit early for me, but it'll probably help to be getting up around the same time everyday. So yay for that. I am taking:
Intro to Linguistics
Abnormal Psychology
Psychology Research Methods (semester 2)
Selected Topics in Math (yeah, this will be awesome. my textbook is called "excursions in modern math")
The World Since 1945
I might be dropping one of those and adding a lab position in one of the psych labs, if they'll take me.
Also, I decided to rush, which I wasn't sure was something I wanted to do but I figure its a good way to meet people and it might be something that I like. So yay for that. I get the feeling I might get some shit for this and I don't even know if I'm going to join (if i get a bid) but I feel like it could be fun, so why not try?
In other news, I'm living in Granville Towers, which is proving to be a pretty good decision. The room is good, the location is good, and the food is even good. So yay for that. Hopefully, I'll continue to enjoy it.
So yeah, this entry is not so thrilling. But I needed to update. And now you know about my exciting first few days here at UNC. Wahoo.
