(no subject)
this weekend was quite eventful. i:
- went to pembroke to run lumbee indian participants for our study at NCSU; it was a pretty fun adventure.
- went to the beach with claire, which was awesome, even if it started to rain later in the day. i am pretty sure that i am more tan than i have ever been before. iiiiiii like it.
- got my upper ear cartilege pierced on my left ear. i like it, and if you're wondering, it doesn't hurt much at all to get it done or really hurt after, unless you are clumsy like me and smack it by acccident. and even then, it only hurts for a minute. plus i don't think i can sleep on it yet, but i mostly sleep on the other side anyways, so its all good.
- bought a t-shirt with 2 little owls sitting next to each other on a branch that says "i love you in a real bad way" on it. its very cute.
- saw the "stangers with candy" movie. i don't really know how i feel about it; i laughed a lot, but i'm not really sure i want to see it again. it was kind of just stupid "why am i laughing at this" kind of humor, which gets old pretty quickly.
- dealt with lots of on-going family drama. ohhhhhh drama...
this week should be pretty good. i'm working all week and then on saturday, i'm going to atlanta with my mom and harrison so he can look at colleges. we are going to the aquarium and seeing the whale sharks and i am really excited about that. we're also going to a baseball game. also, friday is taylor's birthday, so we will do something fun for that, i believe. also, my birthday is in 10 days; i'm not really particularly excited about it right now, but i think i should be able to muster up some enthusiasm about the whole thing by then- i am usually pretty good at holidays.
