So I'm without a cell phone again. *sigh* The battery in my Dad's absolutely died. A week ago it held charge for three days. Today it got me through "Hey, this is" in one message and then died after having been plugged in for 12 hours.

I had gone in to the Verizon store on Saturday because I noticed that it wasn't keeping charge longer than a day, and the guy told me a new battery would be $40. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much, so I told him I would think about it. When I went back in today to buy it, it cost $65.

I had talked myself into spending 40, but 65 is just asking too much. The lady had already swiped my credit card, and i didn't trust her to void it properly, so now I have to go to a different Verizon store tomorrow and return it.

Well, let me back up. First, I had asked about buying a new phone, but the lady told me that I wasn't elligible for a new phone until July. What? Well, you're only allowed to switch phones every two years, and my two years aren't up until July. Okay lady, I don't know what kind of crack you're smoking, but let's cut your cigarette intake by at least half, because your odor is about to kill me. And let me get this straight, nevermind that I bought a phone in August, and then hooked up a different one in November, my two year waiting period- taht I have never heard of- is up in July? So, what? I'm not allowed to have a cell phone until then, because your batteries are outrageous and you're smoking special crack?

On a brighter note, I got the GRE over with this morning. I did as well as I wished to, but I know I could do better. I'm kinda thinking about taking it again, but I won't... because I'm lazy and poor. Now I have to worry about applying!

We're down to seven schools: Oklahoma City, Arizona State, Central Florida, Florida State, Eastern Michigan, Columbia College, and Columbia University. I think I'm going to cut Central Florida (requires a theatre degree, bastards), Eastern Michigan (because I don't feel like researching it any more, and their website is hard to navigate), and Columbia College (because they ask for five years experience in the feild, again: bastards).
