You know, it's Christmas Eve...

I'm sure you all do know that, but I think I might have forgotten. Not that I'm being a scrooge or anything...

I ran some errands for my Mom this morning, and talked to her while she baked- i couldn't have helped her, she's really best as a one-woman show. I offered to wrap for her a million times, but she's not sure of what I can see and what I can't, so that was a no-go.

So I have spent the day putting together my prompt book for life. The prompt book was the project that I stayed up all night for last week that was oh-so-much fun- yes, I decided to put one together to organize information about the next few chapters of my life. I've also been making a to-do list of all the people I need to contact next week: about summer stock, about grad school, about other job opportunities for the fall. And I've studied for the GRE.

It's not that I'm doing anything bad, it just seems out of the Christmas spirit. Like I should be dusting the house and humming Christmas carols or something. I wouldn't go that far, I just don't want to turn into a work-a-holic. Hopefully when I have my own house and whatnot, I will be busy with holiday activities, instead of busying myself with work.

P.S. I have the best cat ever. He's ill-behaved and rambunctious at times, but he allowed my eight year old cousin to lug him around all week like a sack of potatoes, and he just let me play him like an acordian.
