So my life has been hectic lately. It all started a week ago when my power cord to my laptop practically snapped in half. There were sparks. Not the good lovey dovey kind. Had it happened at any other time in the semester it wouldnt have been so bad, but finals are coming up very quickly and I didnt have access to my notes until yesterday, almost a week later. But that isnt all HP's fault. I called HP on Wednesday in a bit of a panic and spoke to Amanda who informed me that I had a 90 watt thingamajig and she would send it out overnight to me. Well Fed Ex didnt get here until late Thursday afternoon and by that time I had given up waiting for it and had left for Ryans. (This is the part where it was my fault that it took so long). So Monday morning I picked the package up, trotted off to school thinking all is well, when i open the package before class and see that it is the wrong cord. That DUMB BITCH, excuse my language, sent me the wrong one, she didnt listen to me and sent me the cord for the newer series. So I called back and spoke with Victoria who kindly fixed my problem, I needed a 65 watt thingamajig with a yellow end, with the exception that now there is an extra $80 on my credit card until I can return the package, which i Dont really have the time to run out and do, mainly because nothing is convenient to get to in Cleveland and Im freaking out about my exams. Anyways, the week continues but eventually I get the right cord and all is right in the world
Monday I get a text from my long lost friend Matty-o and apparently our friend Philip Markoff has gotten himself into a wee bit of trouble... like murder in the first degree and kidnapping. Problematic to say the least. This news resulted in a lot of phone calls and a lot of time spent on the phone just saying "oh my god, I cant believe this!" It was a general consensus that Phil could never do something like this, he's one of the nicest guys ever, I cant even imagine him holding a gun. He was pre-med at SUNY and lived with Matt and Ryan my senior year. He was my beer pong partner! I liked playing with him because that kid had some serious wingspan! Anyways more and more news came out and it looked more and more like he actually did it. So I suppose Ive come to grips with the fact that I know a murderer. Its a bizarre feeling. 98PXY called me this morning for an interview (my cousin called the DJ and told him that I knew the Craigslist killer)That was kinda fun, I had never called in to a radio show before. I got to talk to Scott Spazzano! An oldy but a goody.
Not much else is new in my life. Just quite literally murder and mayhem. Im trying to get Danah to come visit before I go home. She gets out of school a little bit before me, well really Im just staying in Cleveland with the man piece a little bit longer than necessary. Im going to meet with a couple of semi-local attorneys before I go home too, to see if I can get any connections to find a job for next year. Fellow students are actually getting laid off from their current summer positions, I don't envy them. That just means that its going to be a little extra competitive to find that real life job after graduation. UGH. I hate thinking about this stuff!
ok, long entry. Sleepy time!
