I'll be thinking of you the whole time
Spent the last 2 days getting ready for this trip... Shelley, What were we thinking?
Yesterday packed, went to work, after to Dicks sporting goods to get all the rest of the stuff I needed, and then to Shelleys to chat about the trip. We will be hiking 45 miles in 5 days, without showers, bathrooms, living on pretty much oatmeal, ramen noodles, and freeze dried dinners. We leave tomorrow around 3, drive up to the bridge and stay the night. Get up Friday and drive to Houghton, camp for the night. And then fly into Isle Royal the Saturday morning. Hike for 5 days. Fly back to Houghton early friday morning and drive all the way home. So I will be home early morning on the 16th.
