I came to realize a lot this weekend, about friends and family. I learned that although you might not always get along with your siblings, and you hate then now and again, you'll always love them. And the memories that say the closest, are the ones where you truely can say you were happy. That everything was going well. Those memories, and moments, make the best pictures. The ones you look at and remember. I learned that your best friends, are the ones that you don't have to see everyday to know that they still care. The ones you can see maybe 4 times and year, and when you do get together, and catch up, you just act no different. Like you saw eachother yesterday, and no time has past. The ones you always think about, and miss. Thoes are your true friends. The ones that bring back childhood memories, like the ones that make you laugh, although you probably don't really remember them. It was from some home video, or story that your parents always told you.
I remeber running through the wet grass
And failing a step behind
Both of us never tiring
Desperately wanting
I think I laughed more this weekend, than I have this entire year...
Last week was our last full whole week of school. It actually went by pretty fast. Monday tied Franklin 1-1, Wednesday beat Wayne Memorial 8-1. Thursday got sick, came home. Friday, I didn't have practice, so I came home and helped my mom get ready for her party. Leah and I could not get anything accomplished, and just laughed the entire time. She kept asking me questions like "Jillian, would you be my sister if my face looked like "this"?" or "Jillian, would you still be my sister if I had a nub for an arm with tiny little fingers on the end?" It was probably the best time I have had in a while. Played soccer up at northern with Brandon, Alex and Miller. Went back to Amandas house while she babysat, hung out with my Dad and Mr. Miller, since my mom was having her party. Saturday, went to get my hair cut, then went to Alex's and babysat Sasha. Brandon and Kailey came over a later. Today was Leahs Confirmation. So all my family and cousins where here, and Morgan and her family. Did nothing but eat, and then watched some home movies of when we were little. It was overall a pretty good week.
Tomorrow we play Western for Conferences. If we beat Western we will end up 7th in our Conference out of 12 teams. Wednesday we play Central, and Thursday is West Bloomfield. ( I will miss you Sam!! Good luck with surgery. ) Then Friday I leave to go camping up in Ludington with Morgan, Amanada, Tami, Rilee, and Molly for Memorial Day. We are going to have a blast.
