Homecoming
Homecoming was so much fun. The Homecoming Banquet was great! Thank you ASB! I had a great time and Kevin was a wonderful date. Everyone looked so good at the Banquet!! Afterwards, we all went to Silvana's house and played "four on a couch". lol. It was tons of fun.
Today was OK. It was my last homecoming and I wish it could've gone better, but overall it turned out ok. I came to school at 8:00 to decorate the school. Then I went with Stacy and Haley to Denny's. After breakfast, we went back to school to watch the JV game which I got to watch part of it. I'm so happy cuz my brother got a touchdown, but that will be the last touchdown of his season :(. A little later in the game, he somehow got hurt. At first they just put ice on it, but later they had to take him to the Emergency Room, cuz it was hurting so bad. I felt so sorry for him. It was a little hard after that to totally focus on the game but I got little updates along the way, so I didn't worry too much.
Stephen might have torn his ligament by his knee, and at the hospital they gave him morphine, so he'll be ok for awhile. On monday he has to go see a therapist to get an MRI and they might even have to perform surgery. Poor guy, he goes through so much. He can't even walk on it at all. The doctor said he can't even go to school on Monday, but I really hope he'll be ok.
The Varsity game went really well. I'm soooooo happy we won!!!! It was a close game too. Cheering went well for the most part. At half-time, my shoulder sit fell back with the other pop-up, but fortunately we had been up long enough for people to get the idea. I also jammed my thumb and got a little bruise on my face during a basket, but otherwise, cheer went well.
After the game some of us went up to Porter Ranch cuz some people wanted to go to Islands, but the wait was really long, so some of us (Andrew, Andy, Jason, Emily, Stephanie, Jake, and Louie) went to In-N-Out instead (we had to, it was tradition). It was really fun, cuz we ordered our food and had a tailgate party out in the parking lot until we were approached by the police cuz we were parked wrong. By that time we were leaving anyway, so from there, I just went home.
I'm also soooooo glad that it didn't rain today. It actually turned out to be a really nice day. And also, the floats were amazing. I thought the Senior float turned out really good, and in my heart it won first place. Silvana and Scott also made a great Mr. and Mrs. Howel. :)
