Right Now
I live in Athens and am an assistant manager at a shoe store. I work all the time. I am wrapping up lessons with area middle/high school kids on low brass and conducting. I am the contra tech for Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps and am going on tour with them over the summer.
I am moving out of my apartment by June 1st because I sublet it for the remainder of the lease while I'm off with Teal. I am moving all my stuff into a nice family's basement who I met while student teaching. I am looking for an assistant band directing job at a high school somewhere in GA. I have no leads right now.
I would like to find a teaching job so that I can find a place to live before I go on tour. If I don't find anything I will come back and live somewhere temporarily (either with Eric or my sister-in-law or the nice family with the basement) until I get another job somewhere that possibly will have nothing to do with my degree, like right now.
