I can happily say my world has been blissfully devoid of this book - I don't think anyone I know on FB is reading it, even - and reading your review, it will *remain* blissfully devoid of it.

...The "this-is-totally-not-rape-you-guys-honest" scene you described makes me want to read it even less. ¬_¬

i havent read it and dont plan to. I did however see news that there may be a movie with Ryan Gossling in it and I'm sorry but...sex scenes with him...I might have to see it anyway depending on who the female costar is.

I don't see how they're going to make a movie with anything less than a NC-17 rating without cutting/altering most of the material.
