I did some soil tests earlier in the year and found that my soil has virtually no nitrogen and phosphorus in it. This is apparently unusual as it took me awhile to find a fertilizer that would meet these requirements without overdosing on potasium (the third of the three most important 'macronutrients' in plant growth). I ended up getting this liquid fish fertilizer that looks more like liquid vomit and despite claiming to be 'low odor' reeks like you wouldn't believe. I half expect to wake up one morning to find that a bear has dug up my garden in an attempt to find where I've buried the dead fish. ⌐_⌐
