The Itsy, Bitsy Spider....
So today I was going to shower when I discovered a large spider in the bathroom. Now I'm normally not freaked out by spiders, they're a vital part of the ecosystem and some of them are actually quite neat - even if I'm not terribly thrilled about finding them in my living space. It was in a place where I couldn't trap it easily so I whacked it with a shoe. Thinking it was dead I picked it up in a kleenex but as soon as I did I realized the little bugger was faking it when he suddenly uncurled and made a break for it. Right down my arm. I SCREAMED at the top of my lungs and flailed my arms like a total moron.
I did manage to kill it and flush it down the toilet, and then I sat down on the floor and laughed for about five minutes over what an idiot I sounded like - over a tiny, little thing that wasn't even poisonous. XD
