Bolt, as it turns out, was actually pretty good. Disney would really have to make some serious effort to fuck up a movie about adorable domesticated animals.

Admittedly, the first 15 minutes or so was completely ridiculous, (not the tv action sequence, but the whole "THE DOG CANT KNOW IT'S NOT REAL" bullshit had me rolling my eyes) and anything involving the humans was pretty stale, though Miley Cyrus didn't make me gag as much as I thought she would.

But all the animals were pretty awesome, particularly Mittens (who I knew I had to love because she is a cat and therefore awesome, even though the whole declawed thing was pretty much glossed over, though I totally called it, the story never addressed why being homeless and declawed is so bad for a cat who hasn't got anyone to look after it.) The pigeons were a really fun running joke, and really entertaining.

I cried, twice, and would see it again, but only for matinée price.

PS: Someone got the Peter Pan out of the claw grab already. :O
