long time no talk
So it has been a while since I updated things are good, extremely busy, but good.
My roommates moved out this past week, the lease is officially up today and my new roommates move in starting tomorrow. I have been cleaning like a mad-woman but the apartment looks great and ready…just a few more things to do tonight.
I went to NYC for a conference for work on Monday. I actually got to meet a Director in Retail Markets, she was awesome! She said I could come shadow her for a day and stuff…a step in the right direction. While I was in NYC, I saw a bus (and many billboards) with my friend’s face on it, the one with that show. I know I keep talking about it, but please I’ve known him since Kindergarten!
In other work news…there were two other college hires that started with me, one is leaving for a start-up company in MA, very interesting move. And in more work news, I got Leslie an interview in North Jersey with Verizon…and she got the job. Exciting…apparently I do have some pull!
This weekend is looking good. I got invited to Melissa’s 4th of July BBQ on Saturday and then Sun-Mon I am going to visit Joni (and Toni and Gary) in Saugerties. I need to see the Jonester before she leaves for the Icy Tundra of Cornell:)
In other summer news...I have Jenn's shower, Heather's Bachlorette and Shower, a weekend in Saratoga with the rents and a week of vacay in the Caribbean, WOOT!
I will see lots of you on Saturday hopefully!
