The summer
Ok, so I figured I'd update while I have some time. Don't look for another update for a while though =P
Camp is wicked stressful. I almost made my masters from the Certified Horsemans Association (CHA), I'm one level below in my western training =( Oh well, the were still thrilled that at 20, I could teach riding better than everyone but one person, the director of riding. Hah. Our director of riding, Chris, got her masters. The there was me, who got a 4 in english with jumping and a 3 in western. (Masters certification is a 4 in english with jumping and a 4 in western) Everyone else got lower. I still came out on top. And I should have my masters shortly.
Then I'm off to England!
Yup.
I got an invite.
To go.
And train.
With my horse.
And other horses.
So I'm going.
No more college. Just saving up for plane tickets, food and shelter for Amber and myself. My parents are excited for me.
Not too sure where I'll be after the summer. If I go back to Long Island, I won't have to pay rent for myself. I like that. I can bring Amber to Deb Wilcox's place and train wicked wicked hard with her. So all that sounds like a great idea. If my trainer is a contender for the Olympics, then I can shoot high too. I don't have quite so much in Rhode Island anymore. I have a nice barn, but I think I really need to focus on myself and Amber. I need to train HARD. I can make it and I want to make it. I'd only regret not trying.
