... having one of those days where I would very much prefer to immerse myself in fantasy and creativity than deal with the mundane details of work and life.

But I remind myself that the 'starving' part of 'starving writer' is what kept me from pursuing that as a career goal to begin with. Not that the reminder is really helping me concentrate much.
