Yellow handle, light sparking off metal.
Hand grasping firmly, a faint smirk.
It lifts, hammer swinging.
A gleam in the eye, a piercing smile.
Faint giggle emerges from between the lips.
It arcs through the air, no sound but a full laughter as it connects.
Slamming into the chest, soundlessly shattered glass falls.
Hands of flesh reaching out to gather the pieces.
The sharp edges cutting through tender skin.
Blood flows in rivers from cuts.
It spreads in pools on the floor reflecting the light.
Only the mocking laughter echoes in the air.
While flesh tears apart, bones showing upon hands.
The silent screaming heard only in the mind.
The laughter continues louder as the hammer lifts again.
Silently the tears flow from eyes turned up.
A face transformed, eyes glowing red.
The look of hatred shown to the upturned face.
The blow strikes again, breaking glass arms.
Blood spews forth as bone becomes powdered glass.
Twinkling in the light as it falls to the ground.
I scream, scrambling to untangle myself from the blankets. Sweat coating my body, I shiver and all I hear is the laughter ringing in my ears. It feels too real, and most of all it is too close to the truth. That I am being destroyed, broken like a glass doll. I will be swept into a bin, carried to the curb, and tossed away like garbage.
My nightmares keep me from sleep.
I want to sleep.
How I wish to have dreams not filled with blood, terror, and most of all the laughter.
The horrible giggling laughter...
Did you know that I'll just keep hiding it farther and farther back.
Did you know that I'll just keep hiding it farther and farther back.
Do you honestly think you can get away with hiding the truth?
They'll find you...
They'll put you away for it.
