Day 2 - Favourite Companion
LOL like there was ever going to be anyone else?
Rose Tyler.
and it pains me that I can't name any future little girl (if I were to ever have one) or at least a pet fish Rose because my sister's name is Rose. *sigh* Unfair.
I know there are some Rose-haters (those two words should never go together) out there, but I really can't see how anyone could hate this girl. From the moment I saw her in "Rose" to the last time I saw her *sniffles* in "End of Time Part 2" - I've seriously loved this girl. She's sweet as much as she is funny. Clever as much as she is silly. And selfish as much as she is selfless. The Doctor has loved many companions - I know this!
But I can't see anyone doing what Rose did for him.
She fixed him. As much as she could anyway.
Sacrificed herself to save him (not just once).
Was going to leave everything and everyone she loved just to be with him.
She made him smile
Made him laugh.
Made him love.
Crossed dimensions for him and sacrificed it all...again.
She waited for him.
Had patience even when I would have slapped him silly and tried to leave.
But she didn't.
Rose Tyler was the Doctor's best friend.
And boy, do I miss her ♥
