Bruce has a point. Superman is generally incredibly uninteresting. CLARK, on the other hand, is FASCINATING.

LOL, you have a point about Superman being relatively uninteresting. He can be awfully bland a lot of the time. But yes, my infinite fascination with Clark probably does show through. :)

Jen! Did you tell me this rambled? This was perfect! Perfect. So much so that I'm almost at a loss where to begin ( ... )

First, I'm so glad that Batman and Superman have come to trust each other.

You're right, it would be more amusing if they discovered that the disliked cape was their boyfriend. But I can't really bear to have the superheroes not trust each other, and on their own terms, not simply because they're Bruce and Clark.

The footsies... Hee! I die just thinking about it! :))

Bruce playing footsie with Clark and grinning at him unrepentantly was one of my favorite images from this one.

This I thought was an excellent bit of characterization, the fact that Bruce is trying so hard not to mess up something he feels is important.

*boggles* You know, I was just re-reading this story before posting it and I said to damo_in_japan, "Oddly, out of 19 pages, this line is one of my favorites, even though there's nothing special about the way it's written or anything. I just love what it reveals about where this Bruce is." So it's a gratifying surprise to see you pick it out ( ... )

>>I think your comments are longer than some of my stories.... *grin*

You know, I can go on and on about your stories. I try not to hog all the good stuff, though, and I try not to be one of the first people to post comments. I like you to get other people's responses without people going, "Oh yeah. What she said." But this time I couldn't resist because I was waiting for you to wake up all day. lol

Glad you liked it! Yeah, I'm enjoying writing the dating a shameful amount, I have to admit. :)

As soon as I saw that Ch.7 was posted I dropped everything to start reading. I've only been home 5 min. That's how much I adore your writing Jen!

Clark knew perfectly well that Bruce was just jerking his chain with that whole "dating" rigamorole, ...that was kidding him about it.

AAAAAAAARGH! CLARK YOU DORK!!! *thawps him then jumps around shaking her stinging hand in the air* Of course Bruce is serious! How traumatized has he become over thinking that he as 'Clark' is so unappealing?! *snarls at Lois* Bruce has a long road ahead of him. *pets Bruce*

And we get the psychological barrier that keeps Bruce Wayne from putting all the drawing all the dots together & getting the picture that forms a giant 'S' in blue spandex. *snickers at Bruce* Though really, I shouldn't laugh at him, that's one of Superman's biggest advantage in the secret identity department. *giggles at Bruce anyway*

"You seem a bit out of sorts," Superman said sweetly. "You' ( ... )

That's an insanely long feedback....think I should start cutting them down?

Um...no? *grin* It's insanely gratifying to get feedback like that, and very inspiring to boot!

Of course Bruce is serious! How traumatized has he become over thinking that he as 'Clark' is so unappealing?!

Poor Clark...it's that and it's also that he honestly is just a little confused about human dating and friendship rituals. He's been gone a while and is rusty. :)

Bruce getting to hear that makes me so incredibly happy! YES! He will remember this! How often does he get to hear it? Especially from someone he actually likes?

I love the idea of superheroes actually hearing good, honest compliments about themselves while in civilian identity. Too often they hear people bitching or snarking.

I'd love to borrow your "clue-Kryptonite," by the way. It could be very useful. :)

*stares* You know I'd pay money to see that. Just because I don't think I can imagine how freaking hilarious it really is.I really couldn't help but imagine the animated ( ... )

Cool! I'm only asking because LJ was evil and made me cut my comment down about 1,000 characters. *pouts* Yes. It was longer.

Please, borrow away! *grins* I suspect that Batman is going to need all the help he can get just to get through that invulnerable skull. *giggles*

It's possible I look forward to your feedback more than you look forward to my stories!

*shuffles feet* Not possible though! You're stories are marvelous.

*shakes fist at sky* Damn you, LJ! :) I've had that happen to me as well, I have to admit. I'm awfully flattered to be on the receiving end. :)
