Squee! Kal gets Clark and meets Jonathan and Martha, which is just awesome!

I couldn't resist finding some way to let him "have" the Clark persona. :)

Also, Kal and Bruce being alone together and away from the cities is filled with potential good moments... But also bad, because eum... arguments and stuff? Kal and Bruce don't seem to be the time of people who get along with each other all the time, there's got to be some sort of friction, maybe.

Much as I hate writing disagreements, I figure there's really got to be. They have too much unresolved. But I'd like to think the underlying respect will come through for each of them.

Also, Diana! That's so cool! I can't possibly imagine Diana condoning slavery, even if she doesn't like human males. She doesn't seem like the type. So there is a potential ally there and if they have Diana on their side, maybe Themyscira will follow.

Unless they've been actively twisted, I have a hard time imagining even AU versions of the DC heroes condoning slavery, so...I think Diana and the Amazons will be possible allies.

Atlantis is, I think, in a very similar position as Themyscira--a sort of uneasy truce and a feeling that it probably wouldn't be worth the effort to fight...Even fairly positive versions of Arthur have him as pretty isolationist, although I'd like to think he'd do the right thing if he were dragged in...
