Scans: Trinity #7
This week's Trinity features not a whole lot of Trinity interaction, but it does give me something that makes me happy: the League actually puzzling something out instead of just, you know, bashing it in.
They find out that Tarot has been kidnapped and things start to fall into place, with some help from (of all people) Hawkman. I suppose it makes sense, as the Tarot is of ancient Egyptian origin, and he's kind of an expert on that...
I like the password, even though it hardly seems, well...secure. But I suppose everyone there already knows Bruce and Dick's secret IDs?
Anyway, I really like the next sequence for the sheer effortlessness of Dick's fighting:
Oh, let the macho posing begin! Or not, since we're low on time:
So yeah...JLA actually doing detective work is pretty cool.
Meanwhile, Eddie and Morgaine snark their way into Despero's headquarters to make him a proposition:
The second section is Green Lantern and Firestorm discussing, uh...crap, I don't remember. *blushes* Let me check again.
Right! Krona! Qwardian dude, wants to see a universe get born, currently trapped in N-Space by the League...or is he? DUN-DUN-DUN!
You can probably tell that section didn't sink in that well. I'm afraid when comics get wordy and infodumpy my mind tends to go "Blah blah blah okay he's a bad guy got it."
I suggest less Hawkman and more Trinity in my Trinity, all things considered.
