A Few Awesome Things
I'm hoping to coax fic from all most some of you for the World's Finest Summer Games! Any fic, any length, any topic as long as it has "summer" and some kind of games in it. That can be Olympic games, card games, board games, war games, mind games, role-playing games... There's a category for newbie artist and writer that I'm hoping to see entries in as well...
Also, the DCU MMPORG seems to be moving forward, albeit slowly. I love MMPORGs and I especially love superhero MMPORGs, so I shall warn you that when (if) this one ever comes out I will be doing my utmost to see if I can get a bunch of LJ-based gamers on the same server with me. We can run around and explore Arkham together and take pictures of ourselves on top of the Daily Planet! I know it has a very good chance of sucking, lol, but I will be duty-bound to try it for at least a couple of months.
The Dark Knight comes out in Japan on...August 2. *dies* And even that is listed as a limited release! So I'm not even going to bother to try and avoid spoilers. I will be starting a new arc of "Music of the Spheres" on the 18th to celebrate, though. :)
