You know what's a great feeling? That two hours or so when you go from:
10:00: I'm never going to be able to get a grip on this next story. Hell, I don't even know what to do in it. Total block. Damn.
11:00: Still completely blank, and have been for days, great! I'm doomed! I'll never finish this next story, I'm totally done, there's no way I'll ever--wait, unless I...
11:10: OK, I might be able to get something out of that. I suppose.
11:30: That's not so bad, really. *turns idea over, examines it closely*
11:45: Wait, hold on. That makes sense. *brain goes clickety clickety* It's even pretty cool.
12:00: Damn, why can't I get home and start writing this!?
It's so wonderful to feel that block give way. Sigh. I'm in writer's nirvana and probably will be until I actually start trying to get the thoughts on paper. :) Then things get sticky again.
