i'm on my way to the promise land
Just a quick update from Oulu, where I'm at my sister's place spending the weekend before heading to home tomorrow.
I am SO sorry for taking eternity to write my Rising Con reports! It’s just that I’ve had so much to do after the con. Oldest one of my brothers came to visit with his family and since I hadn’t seen them in months I wanted to spend some time with them. Then my mom called on Wednesday and was like “you should pack your stuff and let Aarno (my bro) bring them home when they come to visit on dad’s birthday. Then you should jump on the train and come to Oulu on Friday. Dad, Kalle-Juhani (my lil bro) and Valtteri (one of my nephews) are going to Norway and so I’m spending the midsummer at Annu’s (my second oldest sister. yea, I have a few siblings. 6 xD).” And so I packed all my stuff I’ve collected in one year that I’ve lived under my sister’s house, put them in my brother's car and jumped on the train. I hate to leave on such a short notice. But then again, I saw my other brother in Oulu. He’s going through some difficult times right now (like my flist knows) so I was so glad to see him. I will probably write a flist post about him soon.
Anyway, while sitting on a train I wrote maybe half of my Misha report and it's ready for you to read probably on Monday. Ot Tuesday. Depending of how much stuff I have to do when I finally get back home. Haven't been there in months either.
