family & syariah law
today was an all womens afair. spent the whole morning doing grocery shopping (i knew this was coming y'see) and fussing over whether we ABSOLUTELY need those beef rations for my dad. mom made yummy fried noodles and all i contributed was chopping the garlic :P the ladies came at about 1.30pm and the meeting ended at almost 4.30pm. so lesse if i remember this well enough, there was ayesha (and 3 kids), aishah, fatimah (and her daughter azizah), zaidah, wajma, janine (and daughter huda), saidah (the south african lawyer) and zahrah (and her daughter humairah). these ladies half of em are from my all-womens karate class in kewdale. very nice bunch.
then at night (thursday late night shopping in the suburbs here) mom & i went to carousel to buy slippers for her souvenir shop at pulau tiga and sipadan. oh yeah and jelly shoes for badik too. i was so tempted to get me a pair of those really cool dusty pink pierre fontaine heels *grumbles* but as usual mom stopped me. dad'll be here tomorrow AND am FINALLY gonna go and collect my regalia tomorrow morning, cant wait!
